Got a film that you think was disserviced by critics? Or maybe an awful film you can’t help but love? We want to hear about it!
We’re always looking for new films to review on Craft Disservices and if your pick is below 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and you or someone you know would die to defend its virtue, let us know by emailing the show at craftdisservices@gmail.com! We can’t guarantee we’ll cover your film on an episode, but we plan on assembling a Valhalla of Dispossessed Films here on this very page!
We’re also always looking for contributors; send your suggestions to the email above!
So speak up and keep it reel!
Here’s a wish list of the films we think should be discussed on the show:
Blade Runner (1982) – highly rated by current critics, but received a mixed to negative response on its release
Alien (1979) – same
The Thing (1982) – yep, sensing a pattern?
Wet Hot American Summer (2001) – 33%. 33% for the film that gave us modern cinematic comedy.
The Boondock Saints (1999) – Ok, this is not a good movie but it’s certainly a fascinating behind-the-scenes story.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) – 46%
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) – 49%
Tommy Boy (1995) – 43%
